Seeds And Soil

This is what happened:

-Daniel and Daniela get married on February 19 at Kindred Church in Anaheim Hills. 

-Saw Carla Morrison at The Echo.

-Bought my first Annual Pass to Disneyland. 

-Swam at the MOCA.

-Christopher Fishbeck.

-New backyard at Parents’ house. 

-Celebrated my 25th Birthday with my Family and closest Friends.

-Lived with Andrew for 1+ years!

-Amy Bach relocated from Anaheim, California to Brooklyn, New York.

-Surprised Tiffany at her doorstep in Washington DC on her 25th Birthday.

-Instagram.

-Saw Bon Iver at The Shrine.

-Traveled to San Diego, San Leandro, Washington DC, South Africa, and New York.

-Meeting my cousins’ babies for the first time; Riley, Liam, and Isaiah.

-Deluxe Coffeeworks in Cape Town with Tall Man, Eyes, and Hair.

-Had wonderful conversations with South African locals: Zaney (Bo-Kaap guide, who picked me up after noticing me wandering aimlessly on the street and gave me an in-depth tour of her town), Isaac (our friendly, hysterical cabbie that took us on the Cape Penninsula tour on our last free day in Cape Town), Charles (an antique street vendor, who gifted me ivory and gold earrings), Lyon and Raymond (our friends who opened up the pharmacy when it was closed).

-Our safari hut and the view of Africa in the morning.

-Listened to Ivory Teeth Golden Tusk repeatedly, got inspired, made my video.

-Attended four weddings! Daniela and Daniel (February 19), Maggie and Jala (July 15), Ian and Pari (September 4), Jessica and Ryan (October 22).

-Saw The Cure at Pantages Theater.

-Completed my fifteenth journal.

-iMac, 70-200mm, Epson Scanner.

-Trip to New York; the Metro, Amy Bach’s apartment, got breakfast with her and Dave, The Royal Tenenbaum House, met up with Tiffany, Olive’s Coffee, gift exchange and spiked eggnog, saw Monogold at The Mercury Lounge, cried in public, late night Ramen, ate pie at Four & Twenty Blackbirds.

-Wrote Monogold an email and got an email in return. 

-Watched countless hours of television; Dexter, Game of Thrones, Mad Men and Breaking Bad.

-Read four books; Empty the Sun, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Art and Fear, The Guide for New New Yorkers.
